當今社會對家庭的樣貌已經有更多元的認識，但我們還是可能在不知不覺中陷入「對理想家庭關係的美好想像」之中。然而「家庭」的結構並非本質性的，而是建構式、透過實踐堆疊而成的。「家庭樣本」這件作品模擬我們腦中「強迫性的美好家庭想像」，將工廠中對產品品質控管的邏輯套用在動態的家庭關係上，從反諷的視角提醒觀眾「沒有完美的家庭，家庭也沒有一定要怎樣」，並且放下對於家庭關係「應該」和「應當」的期待。

In today's society, there is a more diverse understanding of the concept of family. However, we may still unconsciously fall into the trap of "idealized family relationships." Yet, the structure of "family" is not inherent; rather, it is constructed through practice and accumulation. "Family Samples" simulates the compulsive idealized family image in our minds, applying the logic of product quality control in factories to dynamic family relationships. From a satirical perspective, it reminds the audience that "there is no perfect family, and families don't have to be a certain way," urging them to let go of expectations about how family relationships "should" or "must" be.

現代社会では、「家庭」というものの多様なあり方が徐々に認識されつつある。
しかし私たちは、気づかぬうちに「理想的な家庭像」への執着に囚われてしまうことがある。
本作は、家庭という関係性は本質的なものではなく、実践の積み重ねによって構築されるものだという視点から出発している。
《家庭サンプル》は、私たちの中にある「強迫的な理想の家庭イメージ」を再現し、工場の製品検査に用いられる品質管理のロジックを、流動的で変化し続ける家庭関係にあてはめてみせる。
この風刺的な視点を通じて、「完璧な家庭なんて存在しない」、「家庭はこうあるべき、という決まりはない」というメッセージを観る者に投げかける。家庭関係に対する「こうあるべき」という期待を、少しだけ手放してみる。そんなきっかけになることを願っている。
